El día 22 de Marzo de 2018 se ha celebrado el I Encuentro Intercultural de Personas Mayores de Usera para impulsar y mejorar la convivencia intercultural y la cohesión social del Distrito, la misma ha sido organizada por el Servicio de Convivencia Intercultural en Barrios, el Centro
de Mayores Chino y OCS chinas.
En dicho evento han participado las Oficinas Municipales de Información y Orientación para la Integración Social de Población Inmigrante, gestionado por la Rueca Asociación, la Mesa de las Personas Mayores del Foro Local, el Centro de Mayores Chino y la dirección de los Centros Municipales de Mayores de Usera.
Aprovechamos para felicitar a los organizadores del evento ya que fue un acto muy participativo y con una gran afluencia.
