Las Oficinas Municipales de Información y Orientación para la Integración de la Población Inmigrante del  Ayuntamiento de Madrid han esta presentes en el Foro Mundial sobre las Violencias Urbanas y Educación para la Convivencia y la Paz,  que se ha celebrado  en Madrid del 19 al 21 de Abril 2017.

El Foro Mundial sobre las Violencias Urbanas y Educación para la Convivencia y la Paz de Madrid se concibe como un lugar de encuentro entre líderes locales, organismos y redes internacionales, academia, ONGD y sociedad civil destinado a abrir un proceso conjunto de debate, reflexión y construcción de soluciones que fomenten entornos urbanos capaces de eliminar las expresiones de violencia.

Las ciudades son el principal espacio de encuentro e intercambio de nuestras sociedades, de interacción entre personas, colectivos, empresas, ideas y valores. Sin embargo, también son espacios donde se generan desigualdades y la proliferación de diversos tipos de violencias.

El Foro Mundial sobre las Violencias Urbanas y Educación para la Convivencia y la PazIMG-20170421-WA0003 de Madrid se concibe como un lugar de encuentro entre líderes locales, organismos y redes internacionales, academia, ONGD y sociedad civil destinado a abrir un proceso conjunto de debate, reflexión y construcción de soluciones que fomenten entornos urbanos capaces de eliminar las expresiones de violencia.

Las ciudades son el principal espacio de encuentro e intercambio de nuestras sociedades, de interacción entre personas, colectivos, empresas, ideas y valores. Sin embargo, también son espacios donde se generan desigualdades y la proliferación de diversos tipos de violencias.

Los objetivos  de este Foro mundial son:

  • Evaluar el porqué de las violencias
  • Identificar e intercambiar experiencias
  • Proponer ideas concretas de educación para la paz en torno a la mediación y la gestión de conflictos para la convivencia
  • Proponer políticas, programas y proyectos de construcción de paz
  • Aprobar “el Compromiso por la paz contra las violencias de las ciudades”
