Más de 30 profesionales de distintas entidades participaron ayer en la 3ª Jornada Profesional sobre Delitos de Odio , que tuvo como objetivo conocer el marco jurídico de los delitos de odio, del funcionamiento de la, recientemente creada, Unidad de Gestión de la Diversidad de la Policía Municipal de Madrid, así como las experiencias de entidades expertas en la materia.
La Jornada comenzó con la presentación de D. Antonio Llorente, coordinador de las Oficinas Municipales de Información y Orientación para la Integración Social de la Población Inmigrante. Acto seguido, las y los ponentes abordaron el tema desde los siguientes puntos de vista:
- Marco Jurídico europeo y español sobre Delitos de Odio, por Lluc Sánchez, Abogado SOJE (Servicio de Orientación Jurídica de Extranjería).
- Funciones de la Unidad de Gestión de la Diversidad de la Policía Municipal de Madrid, por David Martín, Sargento de la Unidad de Gestión de la Diversidad de la Policía Municipal de Madrid.
- Delitos de Odio por Discriminación Racial o Étnica, por Esteban Ibarra, Presidente Movimiento contra la Intolerancia y Secretario General Consejo de Víctimas de Delitos de Odio y Discriminación.
- Delitos de Odio por Aporofobia, por Maribel Ramos, Coordinadora Técnica del Observatorio de Delitos de Odio contra Personas sin Hogar HATENTO.
- Delitos de Odio LGTB. Arturo Moreno, Psicólogo especializado en Delitos de Odio del Observatorio Madrileño contra la LGTBfobia.La Jornada, que duró 5 horas, finalizó con un debate y un turno de preguntas donde las y los profesionales asistentes participaron activamente
