21 de febrero: Día Internacional de La Lengua Materna

Un año más,  las Oficinas Municipales de Tetuán y de Carabanchel se suman a la conmemoración del  el Día Internacional de la Lengua Materna a través de actividades de sensibilización y dinámicas grupales en las que participaron activamente  con sus lenguas maternas alumnas y alumnos de clases de castellano de las dos oficinas  procedentes de diversas  culturas y países. Estas imágenes reflejan parte de la celebración:

  Tema del año: «Hacia un futuro sostenible a través de la educación multilingüe»

La UNESCO apoya la lengua materna y la educación plurilingüe a través del Día Internacional de la Lengua Materna. Este año, el objetivo general de este Día es promover una educación plurilingüe para la ciudadanía global.

La UNESCO centrará el Día Internacional de la Lengua Materna 2018 en el tema «Preservar la diversidad lingüística y promover el plurilingüismo para apoyar los ODS”.

Este Día también apoya el Objetivo 4.6 de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS): “Asegurar que todos los jóvenes y una proporción considerable de los adultos, tanto hombres como mujeres, estén alfabetizados y tengan nociones elementales de aritmética”.
